Spring Student Teaching OFE Master Calendar:

Body of Evidence for EDUC 4513
1) 5 Coaching/Observations: Lesson Plans and Debriefs
2) Mid-Term and Final ratings and evidence on CTER (Colorado Teacher Evaluation Rubric developed by CDE~Colorado Department of Education) and CU Professionalism Rubric. Final ratings must have be 3 on every standard and element.
3) Individual Learning Plan (S.M.A.R.T. Goals and evidence) Mid-term and Final
4) Student Perception Survey data. Class data will be submitted on Excel tally and reflections on the data. Teacher Candidates are not graded on SPS results.
6) 5 Journal Entries
7) 10 Seminars - Attendance & Participation
8) Field Hours Log *800 hours for practicum & student teaching
Rubrics: CTER and Professionalism
These are very IMPORTANT documents that are pieces to your body of evidence for licensure purposes.
It will be very helpful to HAVE IT UPDATED FOR EVERY COACHING/OBSERVATION SESSION. You and your MT should be reviewing and recording at minimum once a week. I will include notes during my coaching sessions. This document will also be used for mid-term goal setting and for final coaching session.

We will review chart of course assignments and grading during Seminar 1. The chart is a compiled list of all assignments that you will be required to complete. Review the syllabus on grading or late work. Important to get in on time (Professionalism element )
Recommendation for Colorado Teacher Initial License*
*taken from p. 9 of Teacher Education Handbook
To be eligible for a recommendation from CU Boulder for a Colorado initial teaching license, you must:
● Pass the state-required licensure exam(s) in your content area.
● Successfully complete Student Teaching.
● Complete all required content courses as established with your academic advisor.
● Complete all required teacher education courses.
● Complete CU Boulder’s Basic Skills requirement.
● Complete a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
"I Understand" ~ Understanding of course expectations
Important document that concisely emphasizes what you need to know about course expectations. We will review at the conclusion of seminar 1 and will be due seminar 2 via email.
